Next Steps

So, you’ve learnt the basics and want to keep paddling in a group for motivation and to keep practising your newfound skill set? Join a class of intermediate or more advanced paddlers for an extended paddle.

This will include some exercise, some games and a dedicated paddle together. All aimed at a workout that will challenge every muscle, improve balance, enhance cardio fitness and build a strong core. Training in a group keeps you accountable and the social aspect makes the sessions fun and dynamic. The next step lessons are a structured four-week series. It is beneficial if you make all four sessions

A great way to connect with like-minded people, increase your SUP fitness, become a more efficient paddler and just have a bit of fun on the water.

Locations include the Busselton foreshore, Busselton Jetty and the Port Geographe marina.

Have your own board? Great! Bring it along and get a discounted rate.

Here’s what you need to bring:

  • Wear something you don’t mind getting wet in.
  • Feel free to bring a wetsuit or rash/fleece vest for your own comfort if you want to for warmth and sun protection
  • It can get warm, so layers are a good idea
  • You can leave all valuables in our trailer while we are on the water
  • Bring a bottle of water and a towel, a hat, a smile and a good sense of humour!
